get to that old as close as possible Well, it's been another hectic week, but at least, I am working from my new desktop computer, instead of trying to use my thick fingers on a laptop! If you are using Internet Explorer or would rather Still waiting for my copy of "What The Bleep Do We Know!" So I'll Give You Some More Of My Usual Wisdom! At the age of a little over two, yours truly was reciting the Pledge Of Allegiance, and identifying Coca-Cola logos. I'm not saying this to brag, but to point something out. By the age of three, according to Rich Schefren, which if you haven't found his manifesto, and the missing chapter info, by now, I don't know where you have been hiding, your path is set. You have all the tools to locate what you want in life. So, by the age of two, it was obvious that I was not going to be the Dr. J. or Michael Jordan of basketball, as I had hoped. My body-frame at six feet and a little over 300 pounds precluded me from expertise in the NBA. But, it does not preclude me from pursuing ownership of one of those teams, if I chose to invest my money that way. It does not preclude me from writing screenplays of basketball movies, if I chose to go that way. (Which by the age of eight, when I read my first Doc Savage novel, I knew that's what I wanted to do. I just didn't realize that fate would twist me towards the internet, wisdom, and non-fiction. But, one of these days, if you're lucky--or unlucky--I might put up for your viewing pleasure, my early fiction works, including the one about Major Frank G. Pullam and the takeover of the American Presidency returning the country into a monar--oh wait a minute, forgot where I was going for a minute. Let's get back to work.) You see, my brain had already been wired, not to be a handsome movie star lover, nor a finely tuned athletic machine, but instead, I was pre-destined to care about people, and want to see the best out of them. And God gave me all the abilities to accomplish all that and more. He gave me a voice that doesn't sound like it's scratching down a chalkboard, so I can record audio. He gave me a flamboyant personality, so that I stand out in a crowd. He gave me a brain full of the need to satisfy any curiosity, and the skills to do it. And, so, it was only natural that when my wife brought up the idea of a website that taught people all the hidden secrets, that I was pre-disposed that way, by the age of three. So, stop a moment, and take a look at all your natural assets. What skills were given you by the good Lord above that you can use to benefit mankind? There is something that you are skilled at, that nobody else is? Are you a fashion expert? Then, teach us how to dress and look well! Do you know how to make people laugh? Then cure us with laughter! Are you gifted with animals? Then teach us how to relate to pets? Are you a skilled cook? Then teach us your secrets of cooking? What were you given? Then teach it to us! You get the idea? Oh, by the way, let's go back to where we started. At the age of two, I was doing phenomenal things. But, when I tested for the IQ test to enter school, the teacher told my parents I was one point above mental retardation. You should know by now, that's just flat out wrong! Because at the end of the first grade, the teacher told my parents that I was the brightest student she had in twenty years. You see, the signs at the age of two should have been a clue that the IQ tests were wrong. So, two things: Go back to your past and find out what you were best at Never believe others when they tell you that what you were good at by the age of three is wrong.
