This weekend I had one of those rare
times where my
toilet stopped up and I had to grab the
plunger.
Now, it used to be, years ago, I'd grab
the plunger
and see how fast and furiously I could
work it. I was
trying for the Big Push to get
results--which usually
ended up in a Huge Mess!
But, now, I gently plunged with a few
attempts, and
Voila! within twenty seconds, the
toilet was cleared.
Now, what in tarnation, as the old
Brother Paul would
say does that have to do with LIFE?
Simple!
We usually look for the BIG PUSH to
make things
happen. Why, just last weekend the
Powerball was at
$340 Million Dollars, and North Dakota
sold their most
amount of tickets in one day ever:
$500,000.
Why? Because people want things easy.
They want the
BIG PUSH!
But, life doesn't happen that way! You
can't walk
up to an old-fashioned pump handle,
PULL IT UP ONCE,
SLAM IT DOWN, and get water. It needs
a few gentle
manipulations, and then the WATER COMES
RUSHING OUT!
So, instead of expecting A BIG PUSH to
bring you
success, try doing little steps towards
your goals.
When I first started this site about a
year ago, I
didn't even know how to generate a

Now, it's second nature.
Try to doing just one thing different!
